The Activities staff of Iakhihsohtha Lodge and the Saint Regis Mohawk Tribe Office for the Aging would like to offer our deepest gratitude to Teresa David and the staff at Tsiionkwanonhso:te for hosting the Elder’s Olympic games on Wednesday, August 17. Jamie and Emily transported many Elders to Kawehno:ke to participate in a lively afternoon full of fun, spirited competition, camaraderie, and a delicious BBQ luncheon. Teresa’s dedication to the Elders resulted in perfectly executed games that even included a healthy cheering section! On behalf of the residents from Iakhihsohtha and the participants from the Office for the Aging, we say NIAWENHKOWA for the lovely afternoon.
