CATS SPAY/NEUTER PROGRAM LOOKING FOR BOARD MEMBERS

Bells, with her momma Courtney Brady.

With the help of the Akwesasne and Fort Covington communities' donations, sixteen cats could be spayed/neutered this year so far, for a total of 283 since 2008. The CATS Spay/Neuter Program is offering a low-cost spay and neuter service for Akwesasne and Fort Covington cats and is planning on becoming a non-profit organization and needs board members to do so. Their next meeting is Wednesday, May 13th at 5:30 p.m. at the Akwesasne Housing Authority's Administration building. Anyone willing to help or volunteer is welcome.
