Salary Level: GST 14 - $31,316.49-$32,569.14

POSITION SUMMARY:

Under the supervision of the Arena Manager the concession worker is responsible for the operation of the concession stand at the A’nowara’kowa Arena

QUALIFICATIONS:

Post-Secondary diploma and two (2) years of experience in the concession stand field.

Incumbent must possess effective oral and interpersonal communication skills; good public relations skills. Ability to work under pressure when required, lift heavy (five gallon pail) objects and stand for multiple hours. Must be able to count and handle cash, as well as balance cash and receipts. The incumbent must be able to work flexible hours and be able to tolerate exposure to seasonal heat/humidity as well as periodic loud noise levels. Must follow safe handling of food and beverage requirements and maintain a clean workspace. Knowledge of Mohawk culture and ability to speak the Mohawk language are considered assets.
