Description of Position: Promote an alcohol and drug free lifestyle in the community by doing lectures, distributing literature, getting businesses to promote sober living, etc. Provide community members and schools with information about addiction issues and about available services or programs, making appropriate referrals when necessary.

Qualifications: C.P.S. preferred or high school diploma or equivalent with a minimum of two years experience in the field of alcoholism/chemical dependency prevention or an associates degree in a related field. Must not abuse alcohol and/or any other drug for a non-recovering person or a minimum of three years sobriety for a recovering person. Subject to Fleet and Background Policies.

ELIGIBILITY LIST: A list of qualified candidates is created from interviews that may be used to appoint individuals to similar positions within the Saint Regis Mohawk Tribe for a period of six months.
