A special note of thanks from the Akwesasne Cultural Center to Akwesasne Child and Family Services Community Support. Their "Kawennota'kie Canoe Journey" program provided planning, use of canoes, water, filming and tents for the "Bringing Home the Canoes" event on October 4th. Special thanks to your program and we hope to build upon this event in partnership with the many organizations and individuals that were involved this year to make this an annual event – learning from our mistakes and building upon the positive aspects of paddling!
