MCA Conducting Ferry Survey Win an iPad!

The Mohawk Council of Akwesasne is considering the introduction of a ferry service for the purpose of reducing local transportation delays. The proposed routes are between Tsi Snaihne, Kana:takon and Kawehno:ke.

MCA would like to gauge public opinion on all aspects of the ferry service. A survey has been created to gather feedback from the community on various aspects of the potential ferry service such as who the ferry service should be made available to, when the ferry service would be most utilized, and what community members would be willing to pay to use the ferry service. Feedback on technical and operational aspects is also needed.

The Akwesasne Ferry Service Survey is now available online and can be completed in 15 minutes or less. All questions are for information and planning purposes only, and participants may choose to remain anonymous. All survey participants are eligible to be entered in a draw for an Apple iPad!

Please share your valued opinion on a ferry Service in Akwesasne by taking the online survey. The survey can be found on the Mohawk Council of Akwesasne’s website at http://www.akwesasne.ca/ferrysurvey.html.

For further questions regarding the survey, please contact the MCA Communications Unit or Chief Larry King at 613-575-2348. Niawenko:wa in advance for your participation!
