The Akwesasne Youth Leadership Group would like to thank the Community for their generous support on Thursday August 1, 2013. We held a silent auction, Mohawk raffle and a food sale which was held at the Kaienerakowa Kanonsesneh. All together we had raised almost $1400 and the money made is helping the group to attend the Great Law reading in Oneida, Ontario from August 13-18 2013. We will be able to purchase camping gear, audio recorder, help with travelling expenses and a donation to the gathering.
