Straight from the source! Bernadin Canning representative Emerie Brine will be coming to Akwesasne to lead a 90 minute canning workshop. Learn step by step, ins and outs, and do’s and don’ts of canning as Emerie demonstrates the Bernadin canning process and prepares some seasonally-based canning recipes. Participants will receive Bernadin bags, recipes and brochures on safe home canning.

There will be 3 demonstrations of canning recipes with fruits and vegetables. One will be a healthy low sugar recipe.

Everyone that always wanted to can and preserve their foods, but didn’t know how are encouraged to attend.
