Description of Position: Abide by OCFS regulations in conducting Preventive/Foster Care/Adoption Services. Prepare intake for preventive/foster care/adoption. Explains agency and program rules, regulations and procedures; assists clients in completing required forms and in gathering necessary documentation. Perform a range of duties concerned with families in need or at risk of their children be placed into foster care.
Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree required. Previous casework experience preferred. Basic understanding of computer storage and retrieval. Knowledge of the Akwesasne community preferred. Must be at least 21 years of age, have and maintain a valid driver’s license with a clean drivers abstract in accordance with the Saint Regis Mohawk Tribe’s Fleet Policy. Successful candidate must pass criminal background check.
