This is to inform the community that the following persons have applied for Membership under the Akwesasne Membership Code:

Christina Carrea, age 29, daughter of Bernadette Peters (Akwesasne) and Giovanni Carrea, a non-native.

Jowelle Smoke Remirez, age 18, and Cody Smoke Ramirez, age 16, children of Valerie Smoke (Akwesasne) and Willie Ramirez, a non-native.

Leighann Neff, was granted probationary membership on July 14, 2003. She is the daughter of Everett Cook (Akwesasne) and Stacy Huff (Moravians of the Thames) The Akwesasne Membership Board is now considering granting her full Akwesasne Membership under the Membership Code.

Stacy Huff, was granted probationary membership on July 14, 2003. She is the daughter of Elverna Cooper (Seneca Nation), and William Huff (Moravians of the Thames). The Akwesasne Membership is now considering granting her full Akwesasne Membership under the Membership Code.

Community members have until Friday, September 4, 2009 to indicate whether they wish to make submissions regarding the above applicants.
