Brandon Swamp, Buffalo Bandits #12.

Portland beat Edmonton 14-8 Sunday. Peter Jacobs scored one goal on one shot, while scooping up 1 loose ball in the winning effort for Portland.

The Buffalo Bandits fell to the Toronto Rock Friday 11-8. Andrew Atha Lazore scored a single on 3 shots and snagged 3 loose balls. John Taveras, Mark Steenhuis and Roger Vyse scored 2 goals and 1 assist each. Delby Powless was credited with an assist. Ken Montour took the loss in nets.

On Saturday, February 16th, the Bandits ran away with a 16-14 win over Minnesota. Rookie Brandon Swamp scored 2 goals on 3 shots and picked up 7 loose balls. Mark Steenhuis scored a single and set up 5 others. John Taveras had 2 goals and 3 assists. Cory Bomberry scored twice and assisted on 4. Delby Powless had 2 goals and 2 helpers. Ken Montour made 38 saves in between the pipes.

The Buffalo Bandits have number of injured players, among them starting goaltender Mike Thompson and forward Kevin Dostie.


On Saturday Rochester beat Calgary 15-2.
