At Kahnahiio, Sue Swamp made four 4X16 feet long raised beds for gardening, using 2X8X16 ft. long planks. Here, she lays heavy layers of cardboard into the bottom of the raised beds boxes. The cardboard helps keeps moisture in and weeds, rodents and pests out.
