PETER T. DAVID

AKWESASNE – Peter Thomas David, 57, of Leaf Lane, Kawehnoke unexpectedly passed away Sunday, November 24, 2024 at his home.

Peter was born September 29, 1967 in Cornwall, the son of Cecilia (Thompson) David and the late Thomas David. He attended schools on Kawehnoke and graduated from General Vanier. He was a member of the Mohawk Nation Longhouse and enjoyed playing darts and visiting with his friends.

Peter is survived by his mother, Cecilia of Kawehnoke; his siblings, Cindy David, Barbara (Corey) Tarbell, Anthony (Kelly) David, and Leonard David, all of Akwesasne; and many nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by his father and his siblings, Priscilla, Paul, and Philip David.

Friends may call at the Akwesasne Homemakers beginning at 2:00 PM Wednesday until 10:00 AM Friday, when funeral services will be held. Burial will follow in Solomon Road Cemetery.
