Akwesasne Travel Hosts Mohawk Artists Village in Lake Placid

Reigning Olympic figure skating champion Nathan Chen popped into our Mohawk Artist Village on Sunday. Nathan is the Goodwill Ambassador for the 2023 FISU World University Games. An interactive painting by Dave Fadden hangs behind him.
Using a valuable piece of real estate on the main street of Lake Placid, Akwesasne Travel hosted the Mohawk Artist Village as part of the 2023 FISU World University Games. The Artist Village is open daily from 1:00PM to 6:00PM until Saturday, January 21st. Different Akwesasne vendors will be there showcasing their work every day. They are located in the former GAP store at 2457 Main Street in Lake Placid, NY.
