DRIVING WHILE PROHIBITED

Cornwall, ON – Lorel Thompson, 41, of Akwesasne was arrested on December 9th, 2022, and charged with two counts of driving while prohibited. It is alleged that on December 9th, 2022, the woman attended the Port of Entry and was taken into custody by the Border Services Officer for driving while prohibited. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. Investigation revealed the woman was bound by a driving prohibition with the relevant conditions to not operate a motor vehicle and to complete a remedial course before being permitted to drive. She was taken into custody, charged accordingly, and released to appear in court on January 17th, 2023.
