Southern Portion: The Saint Regis Mohawk Tribe’s COVID-19 Response Team reported 17 new positive cases of COVID-19 in the southern portion of Akwesasne: from June 21st to June 27th. Five (5) positive cases have completed their 5-day isolation period, but 12 active cases remain under the Tribe’s jurisdiction. The 12 active cases include: four (4) children between the ages of 5 and 11 years, three (3) teenagers between the age of 12 and 17, and five (5) community members over the age of 18. Please join in wishing them all a safe and complication-free recovery.
Northern Portion: The Mohawk Council of Akwesasne’s Community Health Program reports five (5) positive cases of COVID-19 in the northern portion of the community as of June 27, 2022. Reporting period is from June 20th - June 127h. Total COVID-Related Passings has been updated due to data research.
