SUMMARY:

Under the direction of Program Director, the Administrative Assistant is responsible for administrative support for the Office. The individual requires the utmost integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality and have knowledge of Addiction and Recovery.

Most administrative assistants are responsible for clerical and organizational tasks like file organizing, scheduling appointments, assisting other staff members, and drafting correspondences or messages. Must have experience working with Microsoft Office and Quick Books software

The individual will manage a variety of general office activities by performing the following duties:

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBLITIES:

Exhibits a friendly, helpful, and courteous manner when dealing with our guest and fellow workers


Adheres to strict confidentiality in all matters

Flexibility in working hours is an asset

Excellent calendar management skill, scheduling complex meetings and handling logistics

Proficient in Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook; and possesses ability to grasp other software adeptly

Coordinates and edits letters, reports, memos, and emails

Running errands to the post office or supply store

Arranging meetings, appointments, and executive travel

Answering phone calls and taking messages

Maintaining folders on servers

Recording meeting minutes

Tracking petty cash

QUALIFICATIONS: To perform this job successfully, this individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE Must possess excellent communication and organizational skills. Must be computer-literate and conversant in Word, Excel, Power point, E-requester, ADP system and Email. Must be able to type up to 60 wpm with accuracy. Have a two-year degree in Business or 5 years experience. 

REQUIREMENTS: COVID-19 Vaccination as a condition of employment. Must show COVID-19 Vaccination card prior to accepting employment.
