BREACH

Cornwall, ON – A 41-year-old Akwesasne man was arrested on March 4th, 2022 and charged with breach of undertaking for contacting his wife. It is alleged on March 4th, 2022, the man was observed in a vehicle with his wife, despite the conditions of his undertaking, while stopped at the Port of Entry. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. During the investigation, he was taken into custody, charged accordingly and released to appear in court on May 17th, 2022. His name was not released as it would identify the victim in the matter.

IMPAIRED, OVER 80

Cornwall, ON – Marie Chantal Delormier, 19, of Akwesasne was arrested on March 5th, 2022 and charged with impaired operation of a motor vehicle and over 80. It is alleged on March 5th, 2022, the woman was operating a motor vehicle while impaired by alcohol. She was taken into custody during a traffic stop, charged accordingly and released to appear in court on May 3rd, 2022.
