1 YEAR FULLTIME TERM POSTION (ending March 2023) AKWESASNE MOHAWK POLICE SERVICES DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC SAFETY

 


SALARY LEVEL: SP01, Step 2- $65,031.61

SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES:

To conduct operational/tactical intelligence analysis and strategic intelligence analysis on relevant issues involving organized crime, hum.an trafficking, major crime, regional crime and domestic and international extremism/terrorism in and around the territory of Akwesasne. To provide executive management with an overview of the impacts of international and domestics trends on criminal activity; to propose solutions and operational strategies to lessen impacts and to develop intelligence products to assist with intelligence-led approaches to combating organized crime, major crime, regional crime and/or terrorism.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Master’s degree from a recognized post-secondary institution with acceptable specialization in economics, sociology or statistics or discipline related to the position, such as but not limited to finance, international relations, political sciences and computer sciencesMust provide proof of Covid-19 Vaccination.

Successful completion of the Tactical Intelligence Analysis Course (TIAC); the Strategic Intelligence Analysis Course (SIAC); and Successful completion of the Criminal Intelligence Foundation Course (CIFC);

Degree equivalency;

Experience with analytical tools, databases and/or mapping software (e.g. i2, iBase, Access, ArcGIS);

Experience conducting open source/social media research;

Experience conducting threat or risk assessments.

Experience working with domestic and international organizations.

Must have a current enhanced security clearance (criminal reference check).

Proof of Covid-19 Vaccination.
