Pfizer Booster Dose Vaccination Clinic Next Week
On Thursday, October 21st, Franklin County Public Health Department will hold a Pfizer COVID-19 booster dose clinic from 2pm-6pm at St. Andre’s Outreach, 12 Homestead Park in Malone.
This will also be a second dose (Pfizer) clinic for those who had first doses on 9/30/21.
Appointments for second doses have been previously scheduled.
Third doses for immunocompromised will not be administered at this clinic.
Before registering:
Have your COVID-19 vaccination card available and, be sure you qualify for a Pfizer booster dose - see below.

Online registration is required. If you need assistance with online registration, please call one of the agencies below. Please bring your vaccination card with you. Wear a short-sleeved shirt, if possible. Be prepared to wait 15-30 minutes after vaccination.
Who is eligible for a Pfizer booster sh ot?
COVID-19 Vaccine booster shots are available for the following Pfizer vaccine recipients who completed their first 2 doses at least 6 months ago and are:
People 65 years and older.
People 18+ who live in long-term care settings. “Long-term care settings” include any location where older adults, people with disabilities or chronic health conditions, or people otherwise needing assistance with activities of daily living receive services or supports.
These can include both medical care and non-medical care.
People 18+ who have underlying medical conditions such as:
Pulmonary Disease, including but not limited to, COPD (chronic obstructive pulmonary disease), asthma (moderate-to-severe), pulmonary fibrosis, cystic fibrosis
Cancer (current or in remission)
Chronic kidney disease
Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities including Down Syndrome
Heart conditions, including but not limited to heart failure, coronary artery disease, cardiomyopathies, or hypertension (high blood pressure)
Immunocompromised state (weakened immune system) including but not limited to solid organ transplant or from blood or bone marrow transplant, immune deficiencies, HIV, use of corticosteroids, use of other immune weakening medicines, or other causes
Overweight, Obesity, or Severe Obesity
Pregnancy
Sickle cell disease or Thalassemia
Type 1 or 2 diabetes mellitus
Stroke or Cerebrovascular disease (affects blood vessels and blood supply to the brain)
Neurologic conditions including but not limited to Alzheimer’s Disease or dementia
Substance use disorders
Liver disease
Smoker, current or former
Tuberculosis
People 18+ who live in high-risk settings such as correctional facilities and homeless shelters.
People 18+ who work in high settings such as:
First responders (e.g., healthcare workers, firefighters, police, congregate care staff)
Education staff (e.g., teachers, support staff, daycare workers)
Food and agriculture workers
Manufacturing workers
Corrections workers
U.S. Postal Service workers
Public transit workers
Grocery store workers
