CORNWALL- Kanehkiiostha "Lynn" Edwards, 45, of 2nd Street West, unexpectedly passed away on Wednesday, June 9, 2021 at her apartment.

Kanehkiiostha Lynn was born on July 29, 1975 in Massena, daughter of the late James "Sonny" Edwards and Helen (Montour) Edwards. She was a graduate of Salmon River Central School.

Kanehkiiostha was a substitute teacher for the Mohawk language within the three AMBE schools. Kanehkiiostha was a member of the Mohawk Nation Longhouse and enjoyed her quiet time and reading, but most of all she cherished her time with her family and children.

Kanehkiiostha is survived by her children, Raienkonnis Edwards, Atonhwatase Davis and Rohonwakehte Davis; her mother, Helen Edwards; her sister, Terry Edwards of Akwesasne; her brother, Dean Edwards of NJ; her companion of 12 years, Bradley N. Davis; and aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

In addition to her father, she was predeceased by her brother, James "Bunky" Edwards and her sister, Donna McEwen.

Friends may call Wednesday 2 - 6 PM at the Donaldson Funeral Home, Massena. Funeral Services will be held Thursday at 11 AM at the Mohawk Nation Longhouse. Burial will follow at the Edwards Family Cemetery.
