Salmon River's Cayde Lazore and Krissy Oakes Earn Four First Place Wins

Salmon River came up short against Massena in Tuesday Dual Track Meet, but two athletes stood out – Cayde Lazore and Krissy Oakes both earned four first place titles in their events.

Krissy Oakes took first place in the Triple Jump, Girl's 4 X 400 Meter Relay along with Emily Wells, Jasmine Oakes, and Alexandria Nye. Krissy also earned first place in the 800 Meter Run and the 1500 Meter Run.

To put that into perspective an 800 meter sprint is a half mile, a 1600 meter run is one mile, and 3200 meter run is two miles.

Cayde Lazore earned four first place wins in the Boyes 1600 Meter Run, Boys 800 Meter Run, Boys 3200 Meter run and the 4 X 800 Meter relay along with Ty Leroux, Gunner Mitchell and Xavier Collins.

Also scoring points in Tuesday's meet were Gunner Mitchell ( Boys 1600 Meter Run), Xavier Mitchell (Boys 3200 Meter Run), Levi Pyke (Discus Throw), Emily Healy (Shot Put), Xavier Collins (Long Jump) and Jasmine Oakes (Girls 3000 Meter Run).
