LOCAL LACROSSE PLAYER NAMED TO ALL DECADE TEAM

THE S.U.N.Y(State University of New York) Athletic Conference announced its All-Decade Men's Lacrosse Team. The list included Akwesasne's Zach Hopps. To be eligible, players had to have played at least one season during the 2009 – 2010 academic year through 2019 – 2020 academic year. Athletes must have either been named ALL-SUNYAC at least twice or named SUNYAC Player of the Year once.

Accomplishments by Zach Hopps in his College Lacrosse career

• Attack – played four seasons from 2013-16

• Three-time All-American (second team in 2015, third team in 2014, hon. mention in 2016)

• Second Team All-East in 2016

• First Team All-ECAC in 2015

• Two-time SUNYAC Player of the Year (2015 and 2016)

• Four-time All-SUNYAC (three-time first team)

• 2013 SUNYAC Rookie of the Year

• 2015 SUNYAC Tournament MVP

• Career totals of 154 goals, 132 assists, 286 points, 127 ground balls in 81 games


• Cortland's career leader in points and assists and tied for third in goals
