As part of the first annual Frightfest, the 56 Drive In Theater added a second week to the fun. This time the FrightFest centered around families starting with a costume contest just before a double feature of 'Corpse Bride' and 'Hocus Pocus'. The doors to the drive-in opened earlier to give time for people to set up and participate in the Drive In's own trunk or treating. An hour before the film, children of all ages walked around creatively decorated trunks and received treats, all the while respecting the social distancing rules and wearing their face masks as they did their trick or treating.

Aliyah Moulton dressed as Poppy from "Trolls" in front of her family's trunk.

"One of the fun things about this is seeing all the different trunks that people make" said one the owners of the Drive-In, Bernadette Jenkins, in regard to what her favorite part of the event was. Jenkins mentioned the decision to hold a second week was to take advantage of the long weekend for customers, but most importantly, it gives families a chance to do trick or treating when they might not be able to this year. Along with the three-night event was a costume contest every night, meaning a new winner every night for different kids. Categories included; Best Duo/Group, Funniest, Scariest, and Best Overall. There was also a prize given out to the Best Trunk each night. Due to the overwhelming success of the FrightFest, the community will be excited to see what 56 Drive-In might have in store for next year.
