FULL TIME POSITION DEPARTMENT OF INFRASTRUCTURE & HOUSING

 


Salary Level: EX03 ST2 $106,687.63

POSITION SUMMARY:

Under the supervision of the MCA Executive Director, the Director of Infrastructure, Housing and Environment is accountable for the leadership, management and delivery of all aspects of the Community’s physical and environmental infrastructure. Specifically, the Director is the senior most leader of: all Community Infrastructure projects and Maintenance, all Housing related services, all Environmental related services. The Director provides oversight and optimizes planning to ensure alignment with the Community strategic priorities and delivers advice to senior management and Council while taking into consideration the needs of all areas of the department. The Director seeks out funding opportunities for projects and has an in-depth understanding of government funding programs, capital planning, project management, environmental stewardship, cash flow management and projection for projects.


QUALIFICATIONS:

• Recognized degree in Architecture or Engineering, or a related discipline from a recognized post-secondary institution

• A Project Management (PMP) designation, with membership in an appropriate profession (PMI or equivalent)

• Ten (10) years of project management experience with exposure to, and participation in, all aspects of planning, designs, construction and delivery, including at least five (5) years in the role of prime consultant or project lead responsible for coordinating the input and delivery of multi-disciplinary teams

• Seven (7) years of managerial experience

• Valid driver’s license
