St. Lawrence County COVID-19 Weekly Update

 


As of Wednesday, August 5th:

1 (one) new case of COVID-19 was reported to the St. Lawrence County Public Health Department today, bringing the total number of confirmed positive cases to-date to 259 (two hundred and fifty-nine)

6 (six) cases are active – please go to: https://www.stlawco.org/ to check out the COVID-19 Cases by Town map layouts.

249 (two hundred and forty-nine) cases have been released from isolation.

3 (three) cases are hospitalized.

4 (four) deaths have occurred; this fatality data comes from the New York State Department of Health and was last updated on 8/5/20 before 2pm.

29,187 people have been tested for COVID-19 as of August 3rd this testing data comes from the New York State Department of Health and was last updated on 8/5/20 before 2pm.

Tuesday, August 4, 2020:

No new cases of COVID-19 were reported to the St. Lawrence County Public Health Department today. Therefore, the total number of confirmed positive cases to-date is 258 (two hundred and fifty-eight)

248 (two hundred and forty-eight) cases have been released from isolation*

Monday, August 3, 2020:

1 (one) new case of COVID-19 was reported to the St. Lawrence County Public Health Department over the weekend, and no new cases were reported today. Bringing the total number of confirmed positive cases to-date to 258 (two hundred and fifty-eight)

28,667 people have been tested for COVID-19 as of August 2nd this testing data comes from the New York State Department of Health and was last updated on 8/3/20 before 2pm.

Testing is being done through both St. Lawrence Health Systems and Claxton Hepburn Medical Center. Testing is by appointment only. Please call the hotline numbers below between 8a-4p if you have symptoms, you are an essential worker or feel you should be tested:

New York On PAUSE continues until August 20th 2020 (as written in Executive Order 202.53), requiring postponement, cancellation, or restriction of all non-essential gatherings of more than fifty (50) individuals, and gatherings occurring indoors must not exceed 50% of maximum capacity, provided the region has reached Phase 4 of the State’s reopening, and provided that social distancing, face covering, and cleaning and disinfection protocols required by the Department of Health are adhered to. Businesses or entities in industries open for Phase One, Two, Three and Four must be operated subject to the guidance promulgated by the Department of Health.
