Traffic Stop Leads to 180lbs of Marijuana
St. Lawrence County Sheriffs Deputies charged Brandy J. Fisher and Damon L. Etienne with Criminal Possession of Marihuana (as spelled in NYS Penal Code) 1st Degree, a class C Felony, following a traffic stop on US 11 in the Town of Dekalb. Fisher and Etienne were found to be in possession of approximately 180 lbs. of marijuana. Fisher was also charged with Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 7th, an A Misdemeanor, as she was found to be in possession of a small amount of cocaine.
Fisher's residence is listed as Moira, NY. At the time of Etienne's arrest, he presented ID as a Hogansburg residence. Etienne residence has also been recorded as Oka, Quebec, and Montreal, Quebec.
Fisher and Etienne were arraigned by Honorable James Phillips of Morristown Town Court and released on their recognizance. Fisher and Etienne are to appear in the Town of Dekalb Court at a later date. Deputies were assisted by US Border Patrol.
