Lacrosse player and MCS Club benefit

Through their annual car show held in July, Swamp's Performance Automotive recently gave two $500 donations to a local lacrosse player and high school club.

They raised the cash at the Cruisin' for Kids car show in July. This year's beneficiaries are Rorontakehte David, a local lacrosse player, and the Environmental Science Club at Massena Central School.

This is Cruisin' for Kids' seventh year. It raises support for local youth or youth organizations. In addition to the car show, there were family activities, a kids Power Wheels race and vendors.

Past recipients of Cruisin' funds include event include Akwesasne Boys and Girls Club, Akwesasne Freedom School, the Salmon River girls varsity hockey team and Hunter's Hope.
