On Aug. 2, Paula A. Fountaine, 54, of Massena was charged with speeding (54-35 mph zone). Ticket is returnable to Tribal Court on Aug. 19.

On Aug. 3, Chris P. Terrance, 34, of Theresa was charged with third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation. Ticket is returnable to Bombay Town Court on Aug. 20.

On Aug. 3, Joan S. Hong, 44, of Akwesasne, N.Y. was charged with petit larceny and seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance. Tickets are returnable to Bombay Town Court on Sept. 10.

On Aug. 4, Michael L. Cook, 36, of Akwesasne, N.Y. was picked up on a warrant. He was arraigned in Bombay Town Court and remanded to the Franklin County Jail, Malone in lieu of $5,000 bail or $10,000 bond, pending further court action.

On Aug. 4, Linda M. Ives, 31, of Corinth, N.Y. was charged with unlicensed operation and second-degree AUO. Tickets are returnable to Bombay Town Court on Aug. 27.

On Aug. 5, Carl L. Vanery, 24, of Hogansburg was charged with failure to stop at a stop sign. Ticket is returnable to Tribal Court on Aug. 26.

On Aug. 5, Austin S. Bloom, 24, of Plattsburgh was charged with inadequate brakelight. Ticket is returnable to Tribal Court on Aug. 26.

On Aug. 6, Jocelyn A. Jackson, 31, of Hogansburg was charged with speeding (54-35 mph zone). Ticket is returnable to Tribal Court on Aug. 9.

On Aug. 6, Ralph A. Vanguilder, 52, of Norfolk was charged with operating a motor vehicle causing an accident. Ticket is returnable to Tribal Court on Aug. 26.

On Aug. 6, Kehley M. Roundpoint, 31, of Hogansburg was charged with speeding. Ticket is returnable to Tribal Court on Sept. 2.

On Aug. 7, Brent E. Fitzgerald, 46, of Lake Clear was charged with operating a motor vehicle in a negligent manner. Ticket is returnable to Tribal Court on Sept. 2.

On Aug. 8, Sierra L. White, 20, of Akwesasne, N.Y. was charged with speeding (66-35 mph zone). Ticket is returnable to Tribal Court on Sept. 2.

New York State Police:

Iakohonwent Mitchell, 24, of Hogansburg was charged with inadequate brakelights and second-degree AUO at 9 a.m. Aug. 8 on State Route 37 in Massena. He was arraigned and released under his own recognizance, troopers said.

Justin D. Rourke, 38, of Hogansburg was charged with fourth-degree grand larceny and second-degree AUO at 11:02 p.m. Aug. 10 on Smith Road in Brasher. He was held pending court action, police said. In a separate incident at 11:01 a.m. the same day, Rourke was charged with fourth-degree criminal possession of stolen property, first-degree AUO, driving while intoxicated, aggravated DWI and refusal to take a breath test. He was released with appearance tickets.

Massena police:

Mary L. Mattice, 70, of Hogansburg was charged with unsafe backing at 1 p.m. Aug. 7 on Pleasant Street.

Harrison M. Jacobs, 22, of Hogansburg was charged with unlicensed driver and unsafe lane change at 12:42 a.m. Aug. 6 on Maple Street.
