Teacher Residency National Museum of the American Indian

The Smithsonian’s National Museum of the American Indian (NMAI) has launched Native Knowledge 360° (NK360°), a national education initiative to promote improved teaching and learning about American Indians. To support this work, NMAI is looking for dynamic educators for the Teacher-in-Residency (TIR) Program.

One teacher will be selected this summer for a paid residency to work with the Manager of National Education and other NK360° staff to develop and test of educational materials that inspire and promote improvement in teaching and learning about American Indians. All applications are due by April 5, 2019.
