TAUNY Presents Afternoon Tea with the Moore Family, 2/16

Back by popular demand, TAUNY will present the program Afternoon Tea with the Moore Family on Saturday, February 16 from 2:00-3:30 pm at The TAUNY Center in Canton. At this program, participants will enjoy the tastes of British tea customs with London-born home cook Fran Moore and her family. Fran will discuss the intricacies of the British afternoon and evening meals as her mother taught her and she has passed on to her daughters. Fran and family will prepare a variety of traditional teatime treats like savory sandwiches, scones with jam and clotted cream, and cakes, tarts and biscuits – and of course tea.

The cost for this program is $35 per participant and $30 for TAUNY Friends. Pre-registration is requested for this program and space is limited. All ages are welcome. Interested participants can register online at or by calling 315-386-4289.

The TAUNY Center is located at 53 Main Street, Downtown Canton, NY.
