Indian Time - A Voice from the Eastern Door

Andrew "Alley Oop" Mitchell, of 28 Third Street, Kanatakon, passed away on December 12, 2018 at Tsiionkwanonhso:te at the age of 85 years.

Son of the Late Jake and Christie Mitchell, dear brother of Simon Mitchell, Mae Mitchell (Browers) and Julia Mitchell (Beers). Andrew was predeceased by his parents Jake and Christie Sawatis (Mitchell), by his brother Roman, sister Mary Mitchell (Rourke) and nieces Kerisite Kwaronhiotako and Diana. He will be lovingly remembered by nieces Teresa Lazore, Joyce Barkley, Susanna Garrow, Judy Reynolds and by nephews Mike Lyons, Eddie Browers, Tom Browers and Steve Browers.

Friends called at Kateri Hall from Monday until Wednesday afternoon. A Funeral Mass was held at the St. Regis Catholic Church on Wednesday, December 19, 2018; dinner followed at Kateri Hall.
