There were a couple of close games last week on Kawehnoke.

The Akwesasne Wolves Novice B team hosted Cornwall last Wednesday, December 5 and skated to a 1-1 draw.

Hardie David scored the Wolve's lone goal on a rush from his own blue line. Kolten Benedict and Odin Benedict assisted.

The Wolves Peewee club came up short in their game against Char-lan 3-2. Alex Delormier Jr. scored both markers.

Royce Thomas, Otsi Benedict and Rhylin Oakes-Cook assisted.

The Wolves got on the board first in the opening period and Char-lan tied it in the second.

In the third the visitors outscored Akwesasne 2-1 for the win.

The Wolves had a chance to tie as they found themselves in a late game man advantage but the game was delayed a few times due to injuries and the game was called with :43 seconds left on the board.
