The Salmon River Central School Ice Arena opened for early season skating activity on Sunday, October 14, 2018. Contact Shawn Miller, Athletic Director at (518) 358-6639 or email smmiller@srk12.org to inquire about regular and/or intermittent ice times available for rent. All available ice is posted online at https://www.srk12.org/athletics/ice-arena-schedule.

Public Skating sessions will again be held regularly on Saturday evenings from 6-8 pm and Sunday afternoons from 2-4 pm. Additionally, whenever practical, Public Skating will also be scheduled on weekdays during school vacation periods. There is no admission fee for public skating.

District residents are also encouraged to take advantage of the following free community skating activities available on school days when not otherwise scheduled for school purposes.

Parents w/Tots and Senior Citizens

Free-style skating

No Sticks or Pucks

Please note, the schedule for these activities is subject to change when the rink is used for physical education instruction and/or classroom recreational activity.
