Letter to the Editor,

I would like to extend my sincere gratitude to Indian Time’s Kanienkeha translators, Dorothy Karihwenhawe Lazore and Mary Iotenerahtatenion Arquette, for the work they do to render newspaper articles into our native language. It was such an honor to see my article about the Akwesasne Historical Markers fully translated in the September 27th edition of Indian Time. This had to have been a lot of work to have it ready in so short a time. I really do appreciate it. Even though my Kanienkeha isn’t the greatest, I took the time to read it out loud.
