FULL TIME PERMANENT POSITION HOME CARE/HOME SUPPORT DEPARTMENT OF HEALTH Salary Level: DS07 STEP 2-3 $50,441.50-$52,459.16

 


POSITION SUMMARY:

Under the direction of the Program Manager, the incumbent’s priority is to supervise the care and caseload for Personal Support Worker (PSW) services. This includes direct supervision, assisting and guiding the PSW team to provide health care services to clients and assist families. The incumbent will assist in the multidisciplinary team approach to care for the clientele in collaboration with the nurses, registered health care providers and other specialized services available to the client from within Home Care/Home Support Program or other programs and services.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Degree in Business Administration or relevant health field certification.

• A minimum of 3 years’ experience in a clinical relevant setting.

• A minimum of 1-2 years’ experience in a supervisory role.

• Current certification in First Aid and CPR.

• Criminal reference-CPIC and vulnerable sector is mandatory.

• Valid driver’s license and abstract required to meet and maintain the MCA Fleet Management Policy.
