Braves Dominate Indians

The Caughnawaga Indians had a real bad road trip last Thursday. They travelled to Cornwall Island for a tilt with the St. Regis Braves and left with a 29-4 loss.

Having only nine runners to the Braves full complement didn’t help.

Angus Laborgne led the Braves scoring with 13 points on nine goals and four assists.

Daylin Logan scored four goals, and with hat tricks were Zack Hopps, Dan Lazore and Caleb Wiles.

Geoff McNulty and Sam Bradman scored twice.

With one each were Dwight Bero, Derek Hopps and Kyle Lewis.

Wiles also picked up four assists.

The Braves scored 1:45 into the game and never looked back as they added 11 more to allow one Indians goal to end the first period 12-1, and the second period 20-2. They outscored Caughnawaga 9-2 in the final frame.

Jake Lazore backstopped the win.
