2018 Memorial Day Parade

The annual Memorial Day parade hosted by the American Legion Post 1479 will be held this Sunday, May 27th at noon. This year’s theme is ‘”Colors of Freedom.” Line-up and check-in will begin at 10:45 a.m. at Smoke Stacks. The parade will start promptly at noon, rain or shine, and will run from Mill Street to the American Legion along Rt. 37. Detours will be set up prior to parade time and traffic may be backed up for an hour or so. Please drive safe and plan accordingly. For more information call the Legion at (518) 358-9976.

Parade Traffic Update: Due to the construction on the north side shoulder of Route 37 in front of the Tribal Police Station and across the road from Wild Bills, this area will be closed to everyone during the Annual Memorial Day Parade. Please adhere to all caution signs for everyone’s safety. You can still utilize the south shoulder in that area as well as all other sections of the route.
