Salmon River Athletes Receive PESLA Awards

The following students were recognized as Salmon River's Physical Education Student Leadership Award (PESLA) recipients. The students were honored at the PESLA ceremony held at Madrid-Waddington Central School on May 3rd, 2018.

From the St. Regis Mohawk School: Kanontiio Taylor Mitchell and Kayleigh Sawatis.

Salmon River Elementary School: Cloe Cook and Sam Moulton.

Salmon River Middle School: Lila Mitchell, Crayton Cree, and Tehonietathe Sharrow.

Salmon River High School: Timmy Rourke, Bailey White and Preston Benedict.

This award acknowledges students who exhibit above average skill levels in a variety of activities, admirable leadership qualities in addition to promoting and demonstrating a healthy lifestyle both in and out of school.
