The Akwesasne Aces would like to say congratulations to Wendell Benedict, winner of the first progressive jackpot of the "Chase the Akwesasne Aces" Fundraiser. Wendell won $7,455 CAN., $3,429 U.S. plus the 20% of weekly from week #14 - $905 of mixed currency. A grand total of $11,789.

The team will continue their fundraiser, "Chase the Akwesasne Aces," and will begin the progressive jackpot at $3,000. Jokers will be $100 U.S. each. A second name will also be drawn for a gift certificate from a local business. Tickets can be purchased from any of the players, or parents.

The team just finished their winter box season. They are planning on hosting their own tournament here in Akwesasne at the end of August. The Akwesasne Aces will also be getting ready for the field team.
