Joseph "Rawena`satste" Bonaparte passed away at his residence on Sunday, January 21, 2018. He was 82. Joseph was the beloved husband of Andrea Oakes, and dear father of Darren Bonaparte (Jennifer), Dawn Lazore (Matthew), Joey Bonaparte Jr., Brittany Bonaparte and Yolande Peters (David). He will be sadly missed by 18 grandchildren: Nicole, Kari, Zachary, John, Graham, Yanenowi, Jacob, Jade, Elijah, Ariel, Aiden, Evan, Anthony, Jacob, Maverick, Drayton, Trinity and Bailey. Survived by 2 sisters, Eleanor Mandell and Barbara Lazore. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Joseph was predeceased by his parents, Angus Sr. and Anne (Oakes) Bonaparte, his son Brad, 4 brothers, Homer, Hubert, Albert, Angus and 2 sisters, Margie and Anna Mae and his former wife, Peggy Patenaude.

Friends and family were received at the M. John Sullivan Funeral Home on January 25 and 26, 2018. Funeral Liturgy was held on January 26 in the chapel of the Funeral Home.
