Indian Time - A Voice from the Eastern Door

In order to further engage community members and receive feedback, the Mohawk Council of Akwesasne’s Akwesasne Election Law Working Task Group will be holding an additional round of consultation meetings. These meetings will allow community members to provide further direction and clarification on proposed amendments to the Akwesasne Election Law. The community can determine what changes are put forth to the community for a final vote on amendments.

The new consultation meeting dates are:

Thursday, September 7, 2017 - Snye Homemakers - 6pm-9pm

Friday, September 8, 2017 – St. Regis Recreation - 4pm-7pm

Saturday, September 9, 2017 – Kawehno:ke A’nowara’ko:wa - Arena 9am-12pm
