William was born March 1, 1970 in Truro, Nova Scotia. He has since resided in Peterborough, passing away on June 1, 2017. Survived by his wife of 24 years, Tammy David Taylor; father of Trevor (Amber), Austin, Brent and Carson. Grandfather of Phillip and Daniel. Brother of Richard (Joi), Thomas John (Olivia), Ernest, June, Michelle (Mark) and Nadine. Son of Shirley Taylor (nee Nevin) and predeceased by his father Thomas Howe and stepfather Hugh Taylor.

William was an avid hunter and fisherman, often making his way to the east coast for moose hunting season with his brothers. He was a man of many hobbies: golf, martial arts, archery, artist and online gamer.

A memorial service was held on June 8th in Peterborough.

Memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Heart and Stroke Foundation. A trust account has been set up in Carson Taylor's name (transit # 2678 account # 8146878-Bank of Montreal). All donations are greatly appreciated by the family.
