Akwesasne— On Saturday, June 3rd the Akwesasne 5K for Epilepsy took place at the Generations Park Tewatahitha Walking Trail in Akwesasne! This is the second year the Akwesasne Epilepsy Support Group has put on the 5k non-competitive walk/run to raise awareness on epilepsy and seizure first aid. The walkers were all entered into a door prize and also had a chance to win 6 more great prizes by finishing each lap! The walkers were also treated to a t-shirt, a gift bag, a cookout and a keepsake photo!

This year there were a total of 72 walkers of adults and children who walked a total of 6 laps around the trail!
