Indian Time - A Voice from the Eastern Door

It was an evening of community spirit and fun on Monday at the Mohawk Council of Akwesasne's first of three OPEN HOUSE events. Held at the Kanonhkwatsheri:io Health Facility, every nook and cranny was filled with some type of exhibit.

Every MCA department was represented and staff created displays, trivia questions, feedback questionnaires, and other activities for the entire community to learn more about what MCA offers and provides.

With special appearances by Santa Claus, Elmo, and Belly Buttons the Clown, along with free food and prizes, there was something entertaining for everyone to enjoy.

Join MCA for the next OPEN HOUSE this Monday, December 12th from 4-7 p.m. at the Tsi Snaihne Recreation Centre. Enjoy free food, family fun, and more chances to win a TV, iPad or Fitbit!
