NYPA's Wildlife Festival

 

Tortoises can vary from in size from a few centimeters to two meters. They are generally reclusive animals and live on dry land and have existed for over 200 million years. Tortoises have the longest lifespan and are known to live longer than 150 years old

Hundreds of people attended the New York Power Authority's Sept. 26 Wildlife Festival in Massena. The event brought reptiles, birds of prey, insects, a petting zoo and other varieties of animals to the Hawkins Point Visitors center.
