CBSA TRIAL RESUMING IN SHENANDOAH AND THOMPSON CASE
COMMUNITY ENCOURAGED TO ATTEND
The Mohawk Council of Akwesasne would like to inform the community that the CBSA Test Case trial concerning Alicia Shenandoah and April Elaine Thompson will resume on June 1, 2015. All community members are encouraged to attend in support of Akwesasne’s aboriginal and mobility rights, and to provide moral support to the two women who are being defended by the Mohawk Council of Akwesasne. The results of this case will impact the Akwesasne community in what we hope will be a positive manner.
