Spirit FC MMA Rocks St. Lawrence Arena
Hart and Burns Take Titles
On Saturday night, the St. Lawrence Center Arena was packed with people ready to see some Amateur Mixed Martial Arts action, and they wouldn't be disappointed. Ten fights were on the card, including 5 title fights.
Brett "The Hitman" Hart for CNY MMA International fought in the co-main event for the 155 lb. Interim Title. He came out strong at the bell and after some intense ground-and-pound, the ref stopped the fight in the first round against Zack Duncan, and Brett came away with his second belt.
In the 185 Middleweight Title fight, Controlled Chaos' Kyle Burns delivered a kick in the second round that would knock his opponent Levi Tupper out cold.
Controlled Chaos had three fighters including Kyle Burns. The other two, Brett Rousell and Kylan Bomberry, were defeated.
CNY MMA International had four fighters on the card including Brett Hart. Others were Ryan DeCilles who lost to Lance Sawyer. But CNY had a good night with wins from Jordon Champion who took the 135 Bantamweight Title, and Rambo Randy Lamb who won the Featherweight Title.
