Akwesasne First Stop in Cross-Country Investigation

 

Akwesasne’s Grand Chief Mike Kanentakeron Mitchell presented Mr. James Anaya, UN Special Rapporteur, with a gift of a wooden lacrosse stick. During their discussions, Mr. Anaya said he has been previously aware of Akwesasne’s issues with Canada.
