Indian Time - A Voice from the Eastern Door

SYRACUSE – Wilma “Pat” Waterman (Redeye), age 75, of Snye, Quebec, unexpectedly passed away Thursday, August 1, 2013, shortly after being admitted to the Cornwall Community Hospital.

She was born on June 20, 1938, the daughter of Roy and Lillian Benedict Waterman. She was educated at the Reservation Schools. She was married to Raymond Redeye, the marriage ended in divorce.

Pat worked as a sales lady in the Fabric Department of Dey Brothers in Syracuse, and also for Crouse Hinds Electrical Co. She enjoyed sewing, playing cards, and Bingo.

Among Pat’s survivors are four children, Betty Sue Devereese of Cortland, NY; Wesley Redeye of Pennelville, NY; Cecelia and Steve Stoudenmyre of Liverpool, NY; and Roy Redeye of Akwesasne, NY; eight grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; two sisters, Geraldine Ashley, and Janet Grome, both of Syracuse, NY; a step-brother, Clark Printup of Salamanca, NY, and several nieces and nephews.

Pat was predeceased by a son, Michael Redeye in 1983.

Friends called Sunday, August 4th at the Donaldson Funeral Home. A Prayer Service and cremation will follow.
